Included in this photo is the Civil War veteran B.F. Hilliker, the drummer on the right side, who received the Medal of Honor for his bravery at the seige of Vicksburg. American Veteran Fifer contains the tune ‘B.F. Hillikers Quickstep’ in his honor.
